How to Tune a Guitar

Tuning can sometimes be a grueling task for the inexperienced but be assured we will show exactly how to tune a guitar either in standard or alternate fashion.

Even the experienced guitarist can sometimes have trouble tuning a stubborn string and it can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes depending on many factors.

Before tuning it is always best to ensure your strings are in good condition. If they are too old they will easily go out off tune and notoriously take a looong time to tune. If they are  new they need to be stretched in before tuning, otherwise they will not hold their note for long, they will also lose their tune as you tune the other guitar strings. – This is because of the tension caused on the neck.
